we researched respiratory viruses, for a better and healthier society

Under Viroless’ leadership, two university teams conducted independent research into the spread of SARS-CoV-2 over a period of 5 months, since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This research is based on data obtained from RIVM, KNMI, NIVEL and CBS. Our teams have independently conducted studies into possible causal effects of the weather (rain, sunlight, wind, temperature, air pressure and humidity) on the spread of respiratory viruses, Influenza A and Sars-Cov-2. For example, data from Nivel was used to look at Influenza A in the years 2015 to 2019.
